ASOT OTD Handbook: Fieldwork Educator Resources and Information

Creating Site-specific Student Objectives

Fieldwork Agency Site-specific Student Objectives
Each fieldwork agency with whom ASOT partners will be asked to share their site-specific student objectives when hosting students for fieldwork. These objectives are designed to structure students’ fieldwork experiences as well as provide explicit goals/objectives students must meet to satisfy the fieldwork agency’s requirements or levels of competency.
Many agencies have well-established student programs and are able to share the objectives upon request.  On occasion, fieldwork agencies will not have site-specific student objectives to provide. ASOT will collaborate with and assist any agency's Fieldwork Educators and/or leaders with creating or modifying their own site-specific student objectives for any level of fieldwork.
Please visit the Fieldwork Educator Resource LibGuide for creating Level I Fieldwork and Level II Fieldwork site-specific student objectives.
