Orienting the Fieldwork Student
Similar to a new employee or a new volunteer processes, an orientation to the agency and its team helps with a smoother on-boarding process for the fieldwork student as well as the Fieldwork Educator. Many fieldwork agencies use their employee orientation structure as a guide for orienting fieldwork students. In case the Fieldwork Educator is interested in updating the existing student orientation agenda or in creating a brand new orientation from scratch, below are some suggestions for consideration.
