ASOT OTD Program Student Handbook

The Auerbach School of Occupational Therapy (ASOT), Occupational Therapy Doctoral (OTD) Program Student Handbook is the policy and procedure resource specific to this program. This handbook aligns with the Spalding University Student Handbook and Catalog.

ASOT OTD Student Portfolios

Each student must develop an individualized electronic portfolio that depicts his or her academic progression through the ASOT OTD program. The portfolio serves as the demonstration of meeting the valued outcomes of the curriculum and competency in the core standards. Each student collects examples of evidence of his/her work and compiles these artifacts into a portfolio.  The portfolio is completed and presented to the faculty as a course requirement during Trimester 8.

It is important for students to retain records/copies of all work created during his/her time in the professional program in order to complete this assignment successfully. Each student is responsible for maintaining electronic files of all evaluative assignments developed over the 36-month program.
