Streaming Media & Video

Follow these steps to locate streaming media in the Spalding Library.

1.  Go to Spalding University Library website.

2.  Select Tools. Select Databases A to Z. 

3. Under All Database Types, scroll down to Films & Video.

To link to a Spalding University licensed streaming video within your Canvas course, use the permalink (stable URL) available in the streaming media title.

1. Chose the streaming video title in one of the streaming media collections in the Database A-Z list.

2. Select the Share button for the title.

3. Click on Copy Permalink. 

4. Open your Canvas course. Add a URL to the module of choice. Paste the link into your Canvas course.  

Follow these steps to locate videos in the Spalding Library Library Catalog.

1. Go to Spalding University Library webpage.

2. See Tools. Select Library Catalog.

3. Type your title or topic into the search box.  Select the Catalog.

4. Select Location. Check Video.  Search.

5.  The items in your result list are identifiable by icon and heading (videocassette, DVD video, etc.).
