Syllabus Assistant is a web-based tool to help course developers create a web accessible syllabus for students.

In some cases, your department may use a template within Syllabus Assistant.  Syllabus Assistant is a web-based syllabus building tool which creates a syllabus 3 ways all screen reader accessible:

  • PDF
  • Inline version
  • Tabbed version

Syllabus Assistant will also archive published versions of syllabi.  Full functionality of Syllabus Assistant is best achieved using Google Chrome as your web browser.  Syllabus Assistant data aligns with Datatel/Ellucian which means course codes, course descriptions, start, end, and withdrawal dates are all imported automatically.  Contact your department head or program chair to confirm if the departmental syllabus is created using Syllabus Assistant.
