- The rampant stealing of intellectual property has been fueled by the ease of cutting and pasting off the Internet
- Stealing or using the writing or ideas of others as your own
- Violation of copyright law
- Examples:
- Outright copying
- Paraphrasing w/o attribution
- Misquoting
- Mixing author’s words with one’s own
- Failing to document webpage, interview, musical score, drawing or composition.
