In the Spalding tradition of compassion and equity, the library never wants finances to be a barrier to access. Therefore, we do not charge recurring fines on our regular circulation materials. The only times we assess fines/fees are for damaged or lost books, or for the collections in the table below.
Fines are charged on a daily basis according their respective collection. If an item is overdue for an extended amount of time or damaged, patrons may be charged a replacement fee for the item as well as a $5.00 processing fee for the replacement. Fees are waived upon the return of an overdue/lost item. If items are left unpaid or unreturned, a transcript hold will be placed on student's account until the materials are returned.
