MSAT-620: Health Science Research Designs and Statistical Methods

In this course the student will develop the skills needed to develop an athletic training practice-based research proposal including literature review, protocol design, data collection, statistical analysis, and presentation.

What are Quantitative Methods?

Quantitative Methods focus on measurements and amounts (more and less, larger and smaller, often and seldom, similar and different) of the characteristics displayed by the people and events that the researcher studies. Examples of qualitative research and methods of collecting data include:
