OT 701: Research Application in Practice

Information Desk


The Information Desk on the first floor of the library is staffed by librarians and student assistants during normal library hours.

Did you instructor put materials on reserve? Course reserves are also located behind the desk and are available for use in the library, usually for a maximum of 2 hours.

The general computing area consists of 16 PC computers available on a first come, first serve basis. 

Collaboration Rooms


There are 5 collaborative technology suites with 55” LED displays and whiteboards that seat 6-8 people. Collaboration rooms are available on a first-come, first serve basis. HDMI cables, remote controls, and other equipment for the displays can be checked out at the Information Desk for a 2 hour period using your student ID.

Printing & Photocopying


WEPA is Spalding University's printing management system. There are two WEPA print stations and one photocopier in the library.


1 B&W page: $0.08

1 Color page: $0.45

1 Photocopy: $0.10

All students get a $4.00 printing credit applied to their account at the start of each year.

Additional funds can be added in $5.00 increments using a credit/debit card at the print station or by logging into WEPA online. Anyone can also purchase a $5.00 WEPA card at the Enrollment Services desk at the Egan Leadership center (ELC, 1st floor).

You can upload a document to print from a library desktop PC or at the print station using a USB drive, OneDrive, Box, or Google Drive account. 

Download the WEPA print app or use log into WEPA online to upload a document. 

Print stations are also located in the Kosair Charities College of Health and Natural Sciences building, Third Street Academic Center, Republic Bank Academic Center, Morrison Hall, and Spalding Suites.

Reservable Rooms

There are many spaces in the library that can be reserved in advance using our online booking calendar: LIB 212 and all individual, private study rooms. These study and meeting spaces are available during regular library hours and must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance.

The Kentucky Room accommodates up to 17 people and provides a meeting space for workshops, meetings, and group collaboration. It also houses the library's print theses and dissertations. Contact the Yolanda Peterson ( to reserve this room.
