Schedule a one-on-one appointment to meet with a librarian individually or as a group, in-person or online. We can assist you with using library resources, developing a research focus, conducting a literature review, managing citations, and more.
The Spalding University Writing Center is located on the 2nd floor of the University Library in the Academic Commons (masks required).
Our hours are Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 8am to 4pm.
Consultations are usually 45 minutes. Please bring your assignment sheet and any other supporting materials.
Our goal is to help you in the writing process; we usually focus on two or three areas of revision opportunity in your work.
You can schedule an appointment by calling us at (502) 873-4494 or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

There are many spaces in the library that can be reserved in advance using our online booking calendar: LIB 112, the Kentucky Room, and all individual, private study rooms. These study and meeting spaces are available during regular library hours and must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance.
LIB 112 accommodates 6-10 people and provides a meeting space for faculty and staff for peer-to-peer problem-solving, training, coaching, and learning about new technologies.
The Kentucky Room accommodates up to 17 people and provides a meeting space for workshops, meetings, and group collaboration. It also houses the library's print theses and dissertations. Contact the Registrar (email@example.com) to reserve this room.
There are 5 collaborative technology suites with 55” LED displays and whiteboards that seat 6-8 people. Collaboration rooms are available on a first-come, first serve basis. HDMI cables, remote controls, and other equipment for the displays can be checked out at the Information Desk for a 2 hour period using your student ID.
